My Approach

What makes therapy with me different than with another therapist?

I have - and continue to do - my own therapeutic work!

I am a firm believer that you can only bring clients as far as you have brought yourself. Much of what clients come to me to work through are things in which I have lived experience, so when I say I have spent a great deal of time “on the other side of the couch,” it is not just for my benefit, but yours we well.

As a trauma informed clinician my main focus is on safety, trust, and client empowerment through building a strong therapeutic relationship.

Have you ever questioned your ability to do hard things? I know I have!

There is nothing worse than feeling like you aren’t able to trust in your own abilities to make decisions, set boundaries, navigate tricky relationship dynamics or even scary experiences!

My job is to work myself out of a job so that you feel empowered and confident in yourself and how you show up in life.

Services Available

Individual Counseling

(15 years old and up)

In individual sessions clients are able to do a deeper dive into the things that feel loudest in their life.

Processing trauma, understanding anxiety or depression, metabolizing grief, or even wanting a better sex life are amongst the most common reasons people come to see me.

Of course, sometimes clients can’t really put a finger on what feels off, and just want someone to talk to about life transitions. If you’re ready to do the work, I’m ready to work with you!

Partner and Couples Counseling

$175 per 50 minute session

Partner and Couples counseling is a collaborative process that offers a space where ALL clients have a chance to feel seen and heard.

Often times we get stuck experiencing the same conversations, disagreements, or relationship cycles over and over and can’t seem to find a way to break the pattern. Other times there is a rupture within the relationship and trust has eroded.

Learning how to create a deeper sense of connection, co-parent, communicate, amicably separate, or strengthen intimacy within the relationship are some of the common reasons clients choose to engage in the partner therapy.

Of course sometimes partners just need a “tune up,” to get back into alignment in their relationship.
